Shoo

Terms of Service

Last updated July 20, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Shoo. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using Shoo on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

The service

Shoo manages comments on your social media ads: it classifies incoming comments, hides spam and scams, drafts and posts replies, moves conversations to direct messages, and connects commenter questions to your business systems when you link them.

Your account and connections

You are responsible for your account credentials and for everyone you invite to your workspace. When you connect a social media account or a business tool, you confirm that you control it and have the right to connect it, and you authorize Shoo to act on it on your behalf: reading comments, hiding or unhiding them, posting replies, and sending direct messages, according to your settings.

Automated moderation

Shoo's moderation and replies are automated and will sometimes make mistakes. We provide controls, review queues, and logs so you can supervise and reverse its actions. You remain responsible for the content published from your accounts, including replies Shoo posts under the settings you choose.

Acceptable use

  • No use that violates the law or the terms of the platforms Shoo connects to.
  • No connecting accounts or systems you do not have the right to control.
  • No use of Shoo to harass, deceive, or spam.
  • No attempts to probe, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

Trial, fees, and cancellation

New accounts start with a 7 day free trial; a payment method is required to begin. After the trial, your plan renews monthly through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give notice before any price change affects you.

Your data

Your data stays yours. You grant us the license needed to operate the service on it, and nothing more. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party platforms

Shoo depends on third-party platforms such as Meta and the tools you connect. Their availability, policies, and API behavior are outside our control, and your use of them remains subject to their terms. Shoo is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Meta.

Disclaimers and liability

Shoo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions taken by third-party platforms against your accounts.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
